I'd also run vanos test with Diagnostics. Hunting at idle generally caused by a vanos issue.
Seeing that you have a code as well seems a great place to start.

Gearbox will need to be dropped, may as well change clutch while you are there.
Replace parts 1,2 and 3 in this diagram. Its what the clutch release bearing slides on, it becomes scored and rough...

Yep swap globes over....then swap igniters over...
Yep swap globes over....then swap igniters over if you get no joy with the globes.....if its not one of those then its the controller. Controller on the near side is easy to get to.....opposite side...
