subframe cracked!

oh well

i was hoping to leave the car there but now have to collect and return when BMW germany have sent the parts to elms.

at least i have the wonderful 320 d 4 door experience to look forward to all over again.:gayfight:

hope this is all resolved before d day.

Is it covered by warranty or ?

yes the car has warranty, just waiting for BMW Mondial to authorise the repair

this will be the first warranty work carried out in 3 years
every other fault to now has been down to corrosion, wear or other and i've had to pay up.

£5K repair according to elms.

It won't register on the mondial warranty as it will be goodwill or bodywork warranty

Collected cesil today post inspection 1 and gareth sorting all other issues.
Subframe provisionally booked for mid april at stanstead bodyshop

MOT fail due to subframe

so that will be a full retest in a month or so..shouldn't complain as the floor pan is being repaired FOC!!
