A year without a CSL
A year to the day that my CSL was replaced with the GT3 as my track car.
Am I quicker ? yes but not by a huge amount Have I crashed it ? yes at oulton Has it been dearer than the CSL to run? yes spent in excess of 10k upto now! Should I have kept the CSL ? probably Would I buy another CSL ? Definately Wouldn't sell the gt3 as it's a fantastic car but am really considering getting a CSL too as they seem to have dropped in price a little so can afford both now |
is GT3 a harder car to drive? I know GT2's clutch is a killer in traffics... how about GT3? Equally as hard to step on compare to BMW's M range cars? :)
Thanx!!! cheers, richie |
Love th GT3....is it a 997 or 996...Interesting thoughts and comments as always fancied a 997 GT3 next. Sounds like they are trickier on the limit then?

It is trickier but it is vey satisfying to drive hard.
The clutch is heavy but TBH I only the car on track so I don't mind. My GT3 is a mk1 clubsport spec with RS aero, cup brakes, manthey exhaust, h&r suspension, polybushed and a few other tweaks, Just been wrapped in white with the gt3cup graphics kit |

The CSL is a beast. I am debating moving to England just so I can get one (I am in the US) |
