Despite being registered for over a year, this will be my first post, so a total newbie to the register. After a lot of reading and not enough contribution its time to get involved, the 2013 Munich trip will have me checking the diary first thing on Monday!
I recently posted in the Pistonheads CSL forum about a gearbox upgrade (thanks Shim) i had recently. While i was waiting for them to do whatever it was they did, i was wandering around the showroom, nice E93 GTS, (but locked unfortunately) and the regular display of some fairly drab 118d's etc. Anyway, i was flicking through one of the display books they had and for some reason I closed the book totally, what was staring back at me in the sliver display case, but an original sales display card for the CSL!!! Why it was there, or had been for the last 10 years without being moved i have no idea, but i was straight to the salesman to practise some of my best blagging! The poster now sits happily in a frame in the garage.
Not sure if these things are common, if you guys have seen it, so i thought i would scan it and (try) to attach it to this post. Its not A4 so top and bottom chopped off and its a bit sun bleached from being in the showroom window for 10 years + i had to compress it quite a bit to upload, but hey, some of you guys may be interested to see it.
Now i need to read through 50 pages of the 2013 trip thread to find out whats happening.....
