All Round Tyres

Any ideas for a tyre that will suit enthusiastic road use for a CSL rather than the cups? I have falken tyres at the moment which have been quite good although the previous owner fitted them. Must be good in the wet as I live in Scottland.

Thanks

good year F1's or asymmetric

Uniroyal Rainsport 2's are good in the wet but not so good in the dry

All round tyres are good. Those square fookers compromise ride, even with OEM suspension

Hi,
Markcsl and I both use Falkens. I thought the Falkens were better than PS2 in the wet and just about as good in the dry. Never tried supersports but for half the price and the roads mainly wet here, Falkens are a good buy. Where in Scotland are you. Cups are probably best for the 2hours annual sunshine it you can change your wheel quick enough

Cheers
Derek

Im in Aberdeen City but use the car to shoot over to the Fort William areas mostly. So on average im halfway between the Lecht and Aviemore!

I might go for another set of Falkens as to be fair they were good so ill avoid brand snobbery. Ill have a sniff about at prices, its damage limitation when buying tyres.

I was using Falkens too, and another mate with an M3 and we both rated them highly, even on track they weren't half bad. Now the car is down to a 3rd car, it stays on Cups all year round.
