My little Bmw M3 E46 SMGII

Hello Everybody ,

After spending many hours to read topics of this forum , I decided to start mine...

First of all , I want to say that this forum is a real mine of information.
On this point , American forum are 100X better than French forum !

I also love the good state of mind of the members here http://m3forum.net/m3forum/images/smilies/smile.gif !

Well... Now , let's talk about the car http://m3forum.net/m3forum/images/smilies/smile.gif .

October 2003 M3 E46 SMGII with approximately 97 000km ( ~60 000 miles )
Titanium silver with a lot of factory options and some little modifications.

Modifications list :

Engine:
-Stock with only a K&N air filter

Exhaust :
-Bastuck Exhaust

Suspension :
-Eibach Springs
-10mm spacer on the front

Brakes:
-BBK bmw performance ( Brembo 6 pistons from the 135i with CSL discs )

Exterior/Esthetic :
-Carbon fiber CSL diffuser
-Angel Eyes 6000K
-Black grills ( front & side )
-Depo smoked corners
-New headlight lens
-Carbon fiber bmw emblem ( bonnet , trunk , and wheels )

My plan is to make a smooth evolution.

Make purposeful mods for better handling while remaining comfortable for every day.

This is why the rear seats will remain, the car will not emptied ect... I want to keep the strength of the E46 M3 namely his great versatility...

I upgrade the car because I'm since last year a Nürburgring Nordschleife addict.
The first time that I went to the Nürburgring, I have loved this place and now , it's the favorite playground of my car http://m3forum.net/m3forum/images/smilies/smile.gif !

Next modifications that I planned to do :

- Bilstein PSS10 ( or PSS9 ) coilovers

- A set of 18" wheels for the track with semi-slick tires.

I'm sorry for my bad English , I apologize by posting some pics on the Ring ... http://m3forum.net/m3forum/images/smilies/drum.gif

Welcome.

After spending the last 2 weeks in France with family I glad that you have proved me wrong as I had decided that residents of France just were not "into" cars.

Glad I was wrong.... now im off to rescue all the old cars that are just standing around rotting away.

Thank you everybody :) !

Equinox : A lot of people in France are not "into" cars...
My impression is that in other country ( Germany , England , US ... ) when people see a beautiful car they say : " Oh great car , lucky owner ! "

In France it's more like : " Look at this Assh... who is driving around with his big car "

:(

It's not everywhere in France but sometimes it's irritating to see that...

I'm 20 years old and people believe that I'm a drug dealer because I drive a BMW :smt033

Hello and welcome !

Your car looks very nice !

Keep enjoying it and ignore idiots that have no sophistication whatsoever to understand and appreciate engineering brilliance :finga:

monkeycsl 20-07-2012 10:06 PM

joHey 20-07-2012 10:43 PM

Monkeycsl: Really for the K&N ? The previous owner took this one on the car ...
