Anyone attending? Havent been to CC before, any good, any advise?

I'm only about 45 minutes away from Castle Combe and had looked to get on a track day there before Christmas but couldn't find a date that had places free. :smt009

I may pop up that day anyway and say hello, if i'm not up to anything!

Love Combe, it;s about 25 mins from me. Small track but fast. They will tell you that Quarry is one of the most difficult corners of any track in the UK and there have been many casualties over the years. As you go into the corner you go over a Avon rise and the car goes light...you need to break before or after the rise to make the corner, breask on the rise and
it could end in tears if you don't have your witts about you. Shame it's not a weekend or I would join you.

Never driver the track in a CSL but have a few times in a Lotus. Track map below.

Andy - Let me know if your interested, ill be coming from Glos. The track day is through BookATrack think its about £160 pound for the day.

Ahhhh twit I am.....Just got back from Goodwood....OHHH MY GOD.....First time on track with the CSL and all I can say is BLOODY HEEEELL WHAT A CAR....Will post some pics next week....surely with the laws of physics the CSL should not go round corners as it does...Stunning. Do not think I will ever sell.

Will prob come over to Combe for a look on the 6th but will not be on track unfortunatly.
