X5 M
Was invited by my dealer to a BMW event on sunday, nail treatment for the missis and the choice of a few vehicles to test drive, only thing worth getting into outside of a normal E92 M3, had one for 7 months and driven a few, was the new X5 M, 4.8 twin turbo :smokin:
FOOK ME does that barge move along and handle for what it is  Very Very impressed with it for a 4x4, proper autobhan weapon that thing |
Sounds good mate, any pics?
Sorry if I've been under a rock but you've got a E92? :hahaha: :smokin: |

When the CSL was in for some work last year or year before, my loaner was a E92, which I was in for 6/7 months as parts took ages to arrive from germany so no what they are like, wanted to see how this thing was  Looked like this . quote from some motoring press: 'The engine is particularly notable as this is the same unit that will be fitted to the next M5 — due to go on sale in 2011. It’s a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 so you get lots of power, tons of torque and fewer carbon dioxides than you did from the back of the V10.' Engine 4395cc, V8 Power 547bhp @ 6000rpm Torque 501 lb ft @ 1500rpm Transmission Six-speed auto Acceleration 0-62mph: 4.7sec |
Spot on mate :smokin:

You certainly need one of these more than you do a RRS... ;)
