csl's are officially the dogs bollocks!

ok, so I bought a csl at the start of the year with my head not my heart. What do I mean? Well, I have not had a road car for over ten years and once a petrol head always a petrol head. I had been looking at this and that and a good friend of mine had this csl (he's in the motor trade), its been upgraded a bit, big brakes, 397bhp from Thorney. He took me out in it and for the money it seemed a great car. Because of the value I bought it but did not really understand it. I do not get chance to drive it enough but so far thanks to a friend for organising it, I did the Wales weekend with Petrolhead Nirvana, and as I live near the lakes had a few blasts over the A6 (Shap Road). Now I love this car with my heart, I seriously can not imagine ever coming across another road car under £100K that could worry this car! How can a two wheel drive car thats sevenish years old have so much grip and be so beautifully balanced. If you love driving, appreciate a car that feels like a best friend in no time at all and you have not got a budget greater than £100K, stop pissing about and buy one! you will not regret it. :smt055

Great cars... espeically those special Thorney 400bhp ones ;)

Anyway, even with 50bhp less it's a proper car.

Don't leave it alone mate, get modding! It can be so much better, mine is and I've only just scratched the surface!

I just wish I could do more.

Sounds like a good buy Andyrouse, they are great cars, sense of occasion everytime you drive it IMO :smokin: Very strong power for an N/A CSL though!
