price advice..

hi all

after abit of price advice, what can I expect to return from my csl ? clicked 28k yesterday, having inspection II today, fresh cups, 3 previous owners, 10 months warrenty mot tax etc, the usual spec, very good condition. 29/29.5 ?!

Is it completely standard - APs, top mounts? I think that is a fair price (£29.5k) for the miles and with the service schedule up to date but would wait until the spring for best price. The sub 30,000 mile examples are few and far between.

See this thread: Sub 30k mile CSL wanted

Advertised typically last 6 months for £29-32k, higher ones being car dealers cars.

I think biggest demand currently for CSL is sub z30k milers with good history and fully loaded and BMW warranty, in which case I'd try to secure £30k

Not that it's relevant Kev, but I can confirm the 50k+market is currently dead!!!

PAul

There never is gonna be a queue at your door with CSLs as always limited numbers being looked for.

You will need to make sure its advertised in the right spots. I know someone that i think may be interested in yours on PGT and have sent him the details.

I've been genuinely really surprised shimmy; I've not had a single genuine enquiry and it's up on here and PH's. I expected at least a couple of cursory calls or emails.....

I guess it's the time of year and economic situation and the fact when I was looking I struggled to find one at first (4yrs ago) as they seemed to be snapped up right away.

it has milltek cats and supersprint straight mid section and a becker radio. fresh cups, fresh service. lovely condition better than the low mileage black one hexagon had up for 38 grand when i bought it a few years back :smokin:

oddly the service manager @ coopers chelmsford always said if I sold he would be interested and wanted first refusal, he now works for rolls royce. the dealer has contacted him today so that maybe handy ! also had interest from the guy who wants a sub 30k.. so wish me luck.. never fails to make me smile gutted its going

To be honest Paul, most regular people do not have a clue what pistonheads is. It's the cheapskates selling ground(I advertise on there too;))

And Csl register is unknown until most have bought

If you seriously want to sell, get your hand in your pocket and get it on autotrader, you will get far more hits IMO

Good luck with the sale,

To the op £29k seems a fair advertising price, depends how quick you want to sell

Wait for right buyer and you should get close
Sell quickly for £25k
