Hi, thought I'd share out latest exploits with you. Race report is here:

It was wet!

Damn right it was wet. I was driving the Saxon Motorsports Civic Type R from 11.30pm to 1.30am - which was probably when the track was at it's worst, although the next stint wasn't much better. Not wanting to hijack your post, so I'll keep it brief - we made it to the poduim with 3rd in class! We were running 2nd in class with only 1 hour and 45 mins to go, but our final driver had an unfortunate trip into the gravel (our only off during the whole race), this allowed the 4WD drive Escort Cosworth to pass us. To have made it to the podium next to the factory backed Ginetta works team was an amazing result at our first attempt, especially in the hugely competitive class 4 catagory - we'll be back next year.

By the way John, you send the Kx girls round to my pit garage any day! Spray on clothes - just brilliant!:smt055

John

car looks great but how comee it is off the pace compared with the E46M3 and only 2 secs quicker than Angus's E36M3? when it is 20 years newer, probabaly 100kg lighters (with Angus in it) and 150bhp gruntier!

Shimmy we've had this conversation elsewhere, I see no real need to quench your desire to have a pop at me anywhere else, ok.

The car looks stunning in real life, once all the technology stuff is nailed this car will be a proper weapon. Want.

LOL, the worst part of endurance racing is the fear you wont be able to hand over your car to your team mate.

Looks like I might be joining Saxon Motorsport for a bit of racing in November
