Rough CSL for Sale - Sub £20K

Found this on another Forum...
Rough as FOOK

You'd think he'd buy a new Steering wheel and replace the sidelight/Xenon bulb.

Anyone know this car?
Ya think it's this one?
Sorry Sight

Oh, just noticed. I'm past 1000 posts, wooohooo!

Can't believe he has repaired the fire damage then left the rest in such a state, that'll never sell like that for that price.

The £10k car originally if no engine or loom damage would have made a great track/ road toy. You could have left some of the damage unrepaired and fitted race seats, stripped interior and fitted cage,

That's shocking - and he wants almost £20k? :smt099 :bigcry:

It does look like it could be the same car.

£10K would have been a seriously good prospect. As you say, strip out the damaged parts and replace with uprated stuff, brakes, suspension and cage and you're looking at £20K track car. EPIC fun.

If you're going to do something, do it right. Look at the state of that steering wheel!!!

Yep it's the same car!! Agree should have stripped it out and turned it into a track weapon!! Shame. Poor person who buys this. Wonder what it smells like?

Re: Telephoned him out of interest

Told me he sold it to a chap building a race car, should be on circuits near you soon!?
I believe it went for £14K+!
I guess it might be worth it for a race build (£engine£) but not as a resto considering cost of parts to resurrect?

Interesting accident!
