CSL exhaust manifold

hi guys, i cant seem to get much info from other m3 forums on this topic but i just wanted to know if CSL exhaust manifolds are the same as normal M3 manifolds (apart from the weight?). i have a normal M3 and i know someone selling a set of CSL manifolds and wanted to know if there is any advantages in fitting them.

thanks

Only weight. Other than that they are exactly the same as far as flow and fitment is concerned.

Unless you are from the USA and then they have cats in the headers and they don't flow for sh*t.

The idiot put items up for sale on ebay then decides he doesn't want to sell them AFTER the auction has finished....

If your car was made post March 2005, then the exhaust manifolds are identical to the CSL - BMW got lazy when the M3 CS came out and decided to just make a whole lot of CSL parts and put it in the M3 CS ;)

The same manifolds can be found on all the Z4 running the S54B32 also.

But yes, as already pointed out - they are the same design as the normal M3 ones just lighter.

Part No. 11627833500 and 11627833643

Were U also bidding on his Supersprint Race lightweight back box few months ago ? Seems like my £830 bid wasn't enough for his second hands SS noise solutions :bigcry: I think he got a m8 to just out bid everyone at the end . Smooooth
