Carbon Fibre solutions helping needed
 
Had a little search, but im rubbish and impatient and could'nt find either of the things I wanted :hahaha:

So removing dash inserts ( silver bit ) this weekend, to carbon vinyl to match mirrors :whistle:

How the fook do you get them of without snapping please :smt055

And the bottom carbon flipperrooneys, how do they come off, tools needed.. so I dont bugger them :smt055

you can just pull them off with your fingers. in the picture you can make out where the clips are (metal bits, sticking out).

if you need to use a flat screwdriver to lift the edge away make sure the end is covered with a tea towel or something equivalent so you dont mark the trim.

i'm sure someone will give you a more comprehensive guide, if you need it

Daz, I got a set of plastic trim removal tools for just that, if you want me to check in the garage to confirm I still have them then you are welcome to pop round and borrow them. You start from the passenger door side and work your way along.

a plastic icing sugar spatula and gently pull off ;)

Mate that would be leg-end, will be WFH tom PM so could meet up anytime from 1 ish onwards :thumbs:

Im Cheating ... so using the standard trims and wrapping them in carbon fibre vinyl like the mirrors and side vents on the car currently.. will see what they look like sat eve and post up pics :thumbs:

If anyone wants a solution might be able to do a deal with the bigdog and sort..
