A new lightweight in the stable..
 
No.. not a black CSL, but a new daily driver for myself and the mrs.

Have fancied one of these for a little while, £35 a year tax (so that will offset the CSL if it goes to £400+!), 64 mpg combined, aluminium space frame chassis and actually quite good fun to drive.

Rear seats all come out, so should be reasonably practical, especially if I get roof bars.

More expensive, but more interesting than your average hatch IMHO.

CSL is in car tax band K, along with all other high co2 cars registered before 2006. (due to the uproar over retrospective car tax hikes)

"They" haven't said this will be a permanent situation, if we didn't have this current rule that keeps us in band K we'd be in band M (which from April will be £435)

Good spot ref the A2- yes garage is in Fleet, didn't know it was previously Rover! Got it from a chap that's just taken over the premises.

Thought so ;) .. used to spend all my time drinking in the high street and lived in fleet for years, only 15 mins away from there now anyhow ..
