Rolling Road advice

Have a charity RR day next weekend with one of the local clubs up here.

Might put the CSL on just to get a confirmation of it's standard power but i know there is something that you need to do to the car 1st.

What is it?

Can someone who knows PM me please?

Cheers,

:smokin:

You will need to fully disable the esp/traction control, there is a sequence,

But im sure you just press and hold the dsc button until the traction light is red, i may be out but that sequence seems to rings a bell.

Just get it on there warm and do it quickly. If people faff about with practise runs, the ECU will stop you after a couple of goes. Just strap it down and go for it...

I was disappointed with 364 bhp, but the dyno broke before it could completely rev out...

Cool thanks guys,

I have tried the traction control button but the light just goes out after about 10 sec?

Basically just take it for a spin, ESP off & Sport on, dont switch it off, strap it down and run it up?

Any other advice as i dont want to be wasting my dosh ;)

Cheers :smokin:

Get rid of the rpm maxing out altogether @ 6300rpm. It's just a simple function in the ECU which can be removed permanently.

It is stock parts (exhaust & filter etc), 51K miles and a stage 1 thorney map to lose the limiter and clear up the bottom end; it was John's (Don'tdobends/Curly)'s originally.

Cool, so I take it you wanted a bit more?

Arn't most of the DD runs meant to be in 4th or is that specific to other cars?
