What is a 60k CSL worth ?

Average cndition service history at auction what would you pay ?

shimmy 16-09-2009 01:19 PM

i would guess private sale 60k worth £21k, 40k miles £24k, 25k miles £26k

then factor in extras

auction i would knock off £1k

Interesting parkers says £15k at auction

But parkers dont have a clue about such cars in reality. You just have to look at their GT3 prices to realise you cannot buy cars at the price they claim they're worth - last time I looked.
It's true you can grab a bargain at auction so if you get it for under the prices listed you've done well right?

of course it might be possible to get that at auction ESP if all the dealers think it is an M3

if you did you could make a tidy £4k profit and have it sold the next day.

Anybody who knows the car realises it is worth more than that broken and sold in parts with the M3 owners demand for CSL parts.

Maybe rather than selling mine I should just break it :)

i seem to remember a shed goin though the auction a few months ago for about 17k?? im sure there is a thread on here somewhere...or maybe it was Bm3w..ahem..mtorque...RIP

I think the last 2 to go through the auction went for £16k and £17k, within the last few months, if that is a guide for you. They will be in the auction for a reason, and that is because they cant get a decent retail price. So what is wrong with the car???

Might be a run in service not done on or before 1200 miles?

angelus666 18-09-2009 04:04 PM

If it has 60k on the clock the 1200 running in service is hardly going to be a factor now is it....! At 16k that is a genuine bargain...!
