100k CSL

Not really, but I am pondering over buying a 60k mile CSL. In a couple of years time I would be the proud owner of a 100k mile CSL. Is this a bad thing? Would the the resale value be nothing and would it still be reliable? Your opinions would be welcome...

Who knows what the resale value would be, but I think reliability would be ok. Regular M3s are ok at that mileage and can't see any reason why CSLs wouldn't be either. Don't think I'd be concerned about buying one with 60k on the clock - given their six year age that's just about average mileage.

Id say a 60k mile CSL would be an ok buy.

Gearbox and Clutch can go after 20k miles let alone 60k miles so be prepared to change or do a good check before you buy

If it has no warranty make sure you get a pro check on it before you buy:thumbs:

mines 65k miles and i love it

I think once you reach 100k you cannot put BMW warranty on the car as that is the cut off point. If your not fussed about the BMW warranty then go for it:thumbs:

My 67K is for sale :) Hint hint.

Id honestly say the car is in better condition and better health than some lower mile cars. It's not the miles, but how it's been cared for and the previous owners of mine have cared a lot.

I'd happily have a high miler car, and was very interested in Jeff's until circumstances changed but if it's still around when I'm in a position to buy another CSL i'd be there looking at it.

After having a low miler, second car my next purchase will be a high miler car that I'm not worried about putting mile on as there built to be driven and been BMW they last too!

My car was at 74k miles when i sold it, mechanicall sound and a bargain :(

Mine feels the same as the day i bought it it now has another 22K on it and the love affair is still strong

If i was to buy again high mileage wouldn't bother me either...
