Problem .. What happend ?
 
Hi all ,
Today i changed the air filter of my CSL but i discoverd something very odd :banghead: .

Look at the tube in the lower right .

So what is the function of this tube , i removed it now because i didn't fit anymore .

Think it's the air supply tube for when the main flap is closed.

It must have come loose i have not seen that before

Your airbox must have been taken apart before and wasn't put back properly.

That piece (item 9 below) is attached to the snorkle part (item 1 below) of the airbox which in turn must slot into an induction pipe (item 10 below) that's bolted to the chassis leg and which is then fed into a foam pipe (not numbered, snail looking thing next to item label 15 below) and bolted to the back of the bumper.

Very easy error to make if you don't know what you are doing or is simply careless when installing the snorkle.

I know ,
I just bought the car recently and it will be fully detailed next month :thumbs: .
Today i did a quick fix of the tube with some tape because i have booked a trackday next week @SPA and the part is in backorder :banghead: .
