Nurburgring Trackday

Finally got some time now i'm back at work. Seems like so long ago!

Anyway I headed back to the UK (I live in California currently) ten days before the scheduled Ringmeisters Prime DN trackday. Lots to do. Great to see it again...

Then it went for clutch, KWs, alignment, oils, brakes and so on. Cannot find the in progress pics. Anyway, BIG bill paid and on we went...

Onto the train to France.

120 odd cars booked on, very tasty machinery!

It was one of the hottest couple of days in history over there and the car was worked hard. Had to run with AC off to keep temps sensible!

Did 36 laps all in and puts my total to about 50. Recorded a few laps and then missed out on some good tussles as the camera was in another car  quickest timed BTG lap after being stitched together due to issues was 7.56. Probably went quicker, who knows. I was happy under 8.

Some pro pics, all part of the trackday price.

All in all a great trip. 1500 miles in 4 days and a lot of petrol but many many smiles. Roll on the next one...

Looks fantastic.

I'm currently getting the CSL back to health to allow some TD fun with it next year. (If we are still allowed over to Europe) :bigcry::bigcry: :hahaha:

Such a good car. I still hanker after a fully caged track spec M3. Could never attack the CSL. How much better on track is a full on track weapon, you have one IIRC?

Correct. Pete was messaging me when he was interested in it. He's in a M4CS now and another friend now has your old M3.

They are good. Awesome in fact but need a lot of work. It's a great testament to the CSL that a regular M3 requires so much to make it anything like the CSL.
Difference with the race car is I am not afraid to push over the limit with it. Find the limit and then reign it back in a bit.
