Footman James insurance
Anyone else get a letter today from Footman James (who took over all Competition Car Insurance, or CCI) saying they could no longer insure and would not renew?
Weird I had my CSL insurred with Aviva through CCI for about 4years and then my CS ever since, for about £600py inc trackdays Im 40 with 2 sets of 3 speedy points, living in central Bristol, just in case anyone has any tips for alternatives. Dont value the trackdays as much now anyway (since racing has taken hold :bigcry:) |
I didn't and was invited to renew but declined anyway as I wanted to group CSL and M2.
Have now used a broker I know and they've gone through Zurich - broker told me they're trying to move into the TD game so I have the ability to use either car on track (up to 5 pa I think) all under same policy. Last CCI renewal requested Cat 5 tracker for £50k value and had to put a cat 5 on M2 as well. So a fair bit of expense to swallow, but peace of mind and flex to use either car as I choose. |
Have not heard anything from them as yet. Since they were took over they haven't been as good as CCI we're. I've been with them for years and the amount of staff turnover is hugh.
