Tyre pressure monitors

Hi Chaps

Iv recently been running a square set up on my car for a few month and thought while the OEM wheels were of I thought it would be a good time to give them a full re-furb from lepsons "who did a fantastic job by the way"

I have just got round to putting them on this week and after about 15miles I'm getting the flat tyre tell tell light come up on the dash, I have tried to reset it a few times but It keeps coming back!!

I have also fitted wheel spacers to the car when putting the wheels on and I don't know if this will have any affect on anything?

all the pressures are ok

any help would be appreciated

cheers

Mines a bit temperamental, wheel spacers shouldn't make any difference, you just have to stick with it and keep resetting it till it stops, have a look in the hand book and will tell you the procedure ;)

You have to do the reset properly (as per the manual), just pressing the button doesn't do the reset, you have to go through the process with ignition etc?

+1. Have seen problems in the past with the system not being reset correctly, causing false warnings.

Yep, you will need to be particularly unmanly and read the instructions :)
