Possibly due to the lack of power and inert chassis. Oversteer is impossible on a dry road. Gear ratios are too wide. Steering is too slow. Understeers in the wet.

Tut. Pg16....the M535i actually first appeared as an e12, a sharper thing altogether than the later e28 version.
