Leaky washer bottle

The warning light was on so I filled it up, only for it all to appear in a puddle under the car. Are these easy /cheap to fix?

Might just be the pipe but it's a bumper off job, I got mine replaced under warranty a few years back

I've replaced mine too. Can't remember cost, but it's unique to the CSL

light comes on with 500mm approx. remaining in reservoir.

just top up 100mm, light out everyone's happy.

Leak is bad enough that the light comes straight back on. I haven't gad it two weeks yet and it has a warranty, so might follow that route depending on cost.

OP - If it turns out you need to replace washer bottle note there is a used one on ebay at the moment.

I'm sure it was a few hundred quid

If your excess is £100 then it will be viable to submit a claim via Mondial.
£250 excess and it might be marginal.

Probably worth getting an estimate from BMW (don't mention the warranty) and then submit a claim on the basis of the price given.
As peeps have mentioned it's a bumper off job so may incur an hour or more of labour alone.

I have been told I can get to it from inside the wheel arch to see what is going on, so will do that tomorrow.
