Warranty Renewal Y/N?

It is coming to that time of year again. I am just wondering what everyone else has done with regards to the Mondial warranty. I am at around 40,000 miles with only one claim in the seven or so years of ownership - rear springs.

I suppose at least I do not have to use a dealership for servicing anymore due to the change in wording/terms. So do I renew? Is it from 40,000 miles/10 years onward that things start breaking or wearing out - ????

I suppose it could be a selling point if I were to.

It will be particularly interesting to hear from others with similar mileage.

Yes - renew. If not, at least have a compression test done.

phew, rear springs only, great result so far. TBH at the price you are paying id swap onto monthly this side of 60k and keep it going.

Going by Billy's engine replacement record, I was just wondering if it is worth it car has just done 21k, needs new front hub which Adem is fitting for me. Not sure what to do at the moment warranty wise it is monthly but is it worth it

It's only worth it when it comes to make a claim or sell your beloved.

Never took it out when the original warranty ran out and only think about it when I read threads on the subject.

To date only one broken spring in 56k. Fingers & toes still crossed.

There's a CSL currently @ Bartlett having thrown a crank during a trackday @ Oulton park. No warranty and a 10K bill in the pipeline.......Despite your reliability being A1 it must be worth going for renewal. £69 direct debit means peace of mind. Just my take on it....:smokin:

And consider it includes breakdown, it's a small price to pay for peace of mind if you're engine pops in the middle of the Alps on a euro jaunt.....better for resale also.

I've kept my warranty ongoing ;)
