BMWS warranty & aftermarket bits

Hi all

Just bought my 2nd CSL which has been under BMW warranty all it's life.

It has AP brakes upgrade and aftermarket exhaust.

The warranty is expensive, so thought i would check with BMW warranty and they claimed they wouldn't cover it due to brakes.

What experiences have the rest of you had with BMW warranty and aftermarket bits.

They were fine about exhaust!

Mods? What mods? Nobody has any when it comes to the BMW Warranty, if the car already has one it's just a matter of transferring the ownership. ;)
Surprised they would except the exhaust as they usually like it 100% OEM.

Cupholders are the only exceptable mod

Get your warranty on direct debit and don't disclose any mods at all when speaking to mondial. Then take your car to BMW Elms Cambridge for all your servicings and warranty claims. They may be a hike for you but they're the best in the country and are educated in all things modded. Trust me, my csl is lightly modded  and Elms have been very accommodating.
