I'm a Sheep... but it's not my fault...
I've been looking for a while at getting either a 996TT or a CSL. Both are cracking cars in their own right and both seem to be solid purchases, not really being affected by depreciation (at the moment). I would have loved a GT3 but they're out of reach now. :bigcry:
I couldn't resist any longer trying an E46 M3 though. ;) I've been looking for a while and obviously reading with interest the very many of them on here. Anyway out of the blue someone dropped me a line saying they were selling their SG CSL and would I be interested. 2003, Build Nr 406 so one of the later ones (registered end December 2013); 67k miles; Armourfend to the front, and rear arches; Hayward & Scott rear box; New Pilot Sport Cups; New MoT; Just had Insp 2; Newly refurbished F&R brakes with new braided lines and new Red Stuff pads; Newly refurbished rims; Tracker fitted; Boot/Subframe strengthened; All Vanos checked along with Valves and Crank and all good; Got to say the exhaust note is absolutely mind-blowing and screams like a stabbed rat above 6k. It's a very cerebral experience. Plans are to re-cover the steering wheel and simply enjoy it. :supz: http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps50d33c7e.jpg http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...psd76bdc25.jpg http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps8b32beea.jpg http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps2f649053.jpg http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps2d3f9a37.jpg |

Just realised I hadn't mentioned the fact the car was bought off sjb here. A gent and a pleasure to deal with.
Car came with a stack of old magazines featuring the CSL from 2003/2004, and a car coveras well! Saw the camper van he has too which looked lovely... |
Looks nice but what are those things behind the front wheel

Upgrading your csl is very therapeutic.....and mildly addictive;) |
I'm not shy of modding having come from (B5) RS4's and S4 track cars, both over 500bhp, but £2500 for brakes is too steep...
