New SB CSL (61k) up for sale, does anyone know it?
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifie...-black/2358272
Hello, I'm on the hunt for my first CSL so just learning the ropes, I see this on has recently popped up on PH. It looks nice, but has had 7 owners which puts me off. Is this common place on a CSl these days? Does any know the car? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks tom |
It's in the for sale section below Tom ;)

# owners wouldn't put me off. Good service/warranty attractive.
If I was in the market, I'd be looking at this one. |
There you go Tom it's deanobeano's car: http://www.cslregister.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12156
As he says in his add "CSLs are Rare, Black even Rarer, but Black and Delimited" makes it one of only 14 UK factory examples to have been produced, draw your own conclusion. If interested send him a pm. |
thats a good price as well, snap it up

Most cars had had many owners, every one wants to scratch the itch, mine has had 4 with 14k on the clock

my car has has similar amount of owners .. quite a few were CSL reg members.
CSL's seem to be one of those cars that people thought in the early years would make a great daily driver, then realised 12 months in that maybe a something a bit softer, quieter , smoother gearchange etc is actually what they want. Also seems to be a car to get ticked off on peoples list of cars to own & drive, then get traded on for new'er & shiney'er .... its only then people realise what they've lost ;) In the early years my car went through owners nearly every 12 months .. advantage is that each owner continued full BMW maintance & warrenty so was looked after very well . |
mine is three owners.......all very careful with her:thumbs:

Condition of the car on the day of purchase is all that matters.
