Nice little article comparing the CSL to the M3. As always, the CSL comes out on top - but the M3 didn't have Cups. I would like to see this comparison done one day!

I have hi-res scans if anyone wants them, just send a pm and I'll forward.

Absolutely yeh, but the normal attack on these comparisons is aimed at the tyres and how the cars would compare on similar rubber.

This was an ideal chance to bury that argument, for example saying that with cups on both cars, the gap went down to three or four seconds so the tyres play a part - but the rest IS the car.

Just swapping across the wheels and re-doing the lap would have made an interesting comparison too.
