Nico has decideed to take the plunge.....

Hello All.

I need a new toy.

Having decided it would be foolish to buy a twin V8 American Powerboat due to running costs, I have decieded to spend (roughly) twice as much on a CSL.

I've had many M-Cars before including a Red E30 Sport Evo, and due to arrival of Nico Jnr, having sold it right before they rocketed, I now feel sick even looking at the classifieds....

Working as I do for BMW, I am lucky enough to be able have a brand new BMW every few months through work, and also get a discount on on parts, so having a very capable daily driver through work, and being able to buy OEM bits at a substantial discount, it seems to make sense to have CSL.

Important bits:

- Must be completely clean and straight
- Full / complete Service history, if not dealer, then recognised specialist.
- Must be Sapphire Black, theyr'e quicker right?
- My budget is likely to mean a car around the 50-60 K miles area.
- Not overly worried about options but would like aircon.
- No problem if car has Aftermarket brakes and suspension.

Have feelers out already with NJ and ML, but rather annoyingly, they just seem to advertise sold cars (yes I have seen that thread!)

Realistically looking to buy in next 8-10 weeks...

Please let me know if you have or know of something that fits.

Many thanks

Cheers - Nick.

The 'SB' being quicker is a myth, generally perpetuated by those that own one! Rarer granted, but quicker no.
If your looking for a SB delimited version, you'll struggle as only 13 were allocated to the UK.

You could try:http://www.hexagonmoderns.com/car_sa...3-CSL/8340.htm Depending on your budget?

PS: NJ doesn't always advertise what he has for sale, so well worth a phone call.

Thanks - I wouldn't say no to a de-limit car, but it's by no-means a deal-breaker either way....

I should add at this juncture that anything Hexagon are currently purveying is out of my reach; I can run to £28K for the right car...

Happy to help y'all out with parts - possibly ask about some Group Buys if there's any interest in something specific....

Cheers - Nick.
