The Other Ginger Chariot

So last week I finally got out testing in the race car i have been building for the last 3 odd years. Its been frustrating to say the least but very happy with the final product.

Wasnt without drama, breaking a gear linkage, and throttle getting stuck open in the second session.

Scrutineers have also given my plenty to tinker with before my first race in August, and there are a few things I'll need to improve (quicker rack, better pads, suspension tweeks)

As a quick spec she is running a 1.8t with approx 300hp @ 950 kilos.

Anyway, some pictures;

Any a video of the first few laps, (not really at pace, was really nervous something was going to drop of, and suspension was set to full soft so was a bit bouncy on the back of the circuit!!

KUDOS ! :notworthy: Nice Racy Dub there Ali :supz: with good set of figures out of the 1.8T motor.
I had a road going Corrado 16V KR Track Slag many moons ago. Very underrated cars.

Cheers, yeah bit strange driving it, never really seen it as a car now, more of an expensive paperweight!

Yeah matt i think you mentioned that on the tour, they do have a cracking chassis, funny driving it at knockhill as it couldnt be and more different to the csl!
