Very odd damage to cesil
1 Attachment(s)
Walked to the car & noticed damage on the exhaust. There is also a smaller but similar dent in the same place on the drivers side exhaust.
Cannot image how these dents got there, hammer or air pistol? If caused by some low life then relieved they did not attack the body, but why the exhaust pipe? Do you think one of these dent removal vans could work some magic? |
I have a simular one on one of my tailpipes but too far back to notice unless cleaning them.

Maybe the speed Craig & I drive. :whistle: |
I maybe able to solve your problem,I had similar dents to my stock m3 a few years back and it was caused whilst having an mot,that thing they clip onto the exhaust for the emissions test has a clamp on it,which in some garages is to strong and dings the exhaust.

I have to agree ... I've seen that before. The exhaust tips are made of such thin gauge steel you can actually make a physical indentation with just your fingers. Replacement tips are expensive too from BMW :moan::( |
I've got them on my tips :banghead:

Over enthusiastic S&M sessions? O'h sorry TIPS ! :hahaha::thumbs::hahaha:
