Too good to be true??

I have been looking around for a second set of wheels for track days. I currently don't have cups on but I am after getting a great price from local main dealer for 4 so I need to find a second set of wheels. I happened to be on e-bay and I spoted these.

Obviously they are not genuine wheels but I'm just wondering whether anyone had any experience with them? Bad experiences etc. The plan would be to paint them as there obviously very dull however if they are a "soft" alloy etc I will not intention of buying.

I'm sure someone here will have had some experience with them. :notworthy:

This company is a stone throw away from my house & next door to where i work, just to share.

They wont be as light as the OEM CSL wheels and not as strong. Never had any dealing with reps.

Price seems about right, I looked at 18" reps and they were £335.

Id imagine they'll be softer than standard wheels, but if theyre for track only - you shouldnt be hitting anything :touchwood:

You should note that price is for the same width wheel all round - you'd want wider in the rears.

Cheaper still, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/19-BMW-CSL-STY...1%7C240%3A1318

Though on both the sets of wheels mentioned on this post, i am not really liking the satin type finish on them , i had recently seen some like these
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/19-BMW-CSL-STY...1%7C240%3A1309

but without the tyres, and were also described as shadow chrome finish, basically like a dark silver/light gunmetal colur, looked stunning and were only £450 a set, though cant find the buggers now.
I am sure if you contacted the company above they would do them without tyres, the finish looks far nicer than the other 2 companys offerings. :smokin:
