M3 interior
Evening all. I'm after a full e46 m3 black leather interior for my csl. Unfortunately the wife finds the csl seats very uncomfortable. Does anyone know of anyone selling a whole interior?

is this an april fools 5 weeks early!!:-D |
Go home, sit mrs down and say these exact words to her.
"listen love, if I was to sit on a hard penis it would be severely uncomfortable, but you seem to do it and love it, so the odd occasion sat in a csl seat should be a walk in the park for you" If you like, you could give her a quick back hand at the same time for added effect, or borrow one of NeilMs gimp gloves and slap her with that. |
Sell the CSL and Buy an M3 if she wants comfort, and you'll be quids in. :)
Go ahead with that little proposal and you be needing a change of Username: "Csl Outcast" :hahaha: PS: Leave my gloves out of it, unless she's into S&M  |

I know what your saying. I can't bring myself to sell the car and get a normal m3. So the only other option is to fit a normal interior. I would always keep hold of the csl interior.

Man up.
Plenty more fish in the sea. Hth. |

1. Give her a cushion. 2. Tell her to put some weight on. 3. Buy her a car 'with comfy seats' 4. Tell her to get the bus. 5. Trade her in for a different model (the wife that is) almost forgot 6. Take her out on track, and she'll never want to sit in it again. |
I do have a comfy car but I don't like her driving it what with it being an e28 Alpina b7. Trouble is she likes the csl but not the seat. She's a pain in the ares!!!!
|
Apparently it's he CSL that's the pain in the arse!
I did have this problem admittedly. Wife complained of seat giving her a sore back. I took it out and reclined it some more, put it back in and she's never complained since. Have you tried that? |
Tried adjusting the seating position but no joy. While I'm on here, I think my axle carrier has cracked, due to a louder clicking noise from the rear when I pull away. Are there any decent bmw dealers in the Essex area to have this checked out?
|
Elms Cambridge.
And a good divorce lawyer just down the road :) |
Thanks shimmy, I'll check them out.
|
put a couple of cushions underneath the seat. That sorted my mrs out.

When I purchased it, my CSL came with some "optional" sport seats.
I still have them on sale if you are interested. However, it might be complicated to send them to the UK. The fabric is the same as in the CSL bucket seats, so you could even keep the original CSL seat for you. http://m.anibis.ch/uploads/003/252/3...0GfwUbWw_2.jpg http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/E4...s/sports_seat/ |
as Baz says, recline the seat, there is a thread in the tech area, then some added support under the back cushion.
If that doesn't work tell her to fucking walk ;) |

Just tell here if she perseveres it will give her the posture of Charlize Theron
Lesa aka 'cslgirl' has had hers for a good while and never complained. |

hi csl outlaw i used elms bishop stortford they were amazing, my car feels so good since they carried the work out and i came back so clean well it hadnt been cleaned for 6 months lol
i hope this helps and btw dont be like all the chavs changing your interior its just as bad when you see a csl with diffrent brakes i.e vw brakes or whatever they use :moan: |
Thanks csllover, i'll check them out. a lot of people say elms are really good and that they do a proper job. don't worry about my csl being "chaved up". shes completely stock apart from the roof which a had painted because the carbon was starting to look tatty.

Ok.....reveal yourself.... |
This thread is beginning to sounds like a 'cutters' wind-up; what with "vw brakes or whatever" and "roof which a had painted"
Nobody in their right mind would have the roof of a CSL painted :banghead: sounds like Dumb and Dumber have joined the register.:partyman: |
It's the new craze Neil, paint up the roof and carbon up the front bumper :smokin:
We'll all be doing it for Munich, BMW will be so impressed :supz: |
Im'e up for group buy if we can get some cheap paint

I'm thinking more of an all over immersion, for the event similar to Billy's :supz:

lets do a group buy on m3 standard air boxes and sell the carbon ones on cutters for a £10 see if they want them or not :birdman: |

All new contributors are met with a certain amount of sceptisism on their first post, particularly when it's not an introduction piece.
It's nothing personal as you'll find out given time, it's a defensive ploy against interlopers who turn up from time to time. We are a relatively small tight-knit community with one common purpose the CSL :notworthy: If you are a genuine owner, albeit slightly misguided IMO and want to be taken seriously, I would suggest that you light up your members badge, which will indicate to the assembled multitude, some degree of commitment. I'll keep my personal thoughts to myself for the time being, as there may be more to this than meets the eye. |
