My new toy at the BMW car club show last Sunday. Standard except for running 12mm spacers to fill the arches. All it wants for is a titanium Gruppe M exhaust.........anybody?

Very nice, I had hoped to make the show as i was in London but didnt make it in the end.

I've a gruppe m here but not sure weather or not to part with it as I know how difficult they are to find...

Ive got a lightweight supersprint race back box and unsilenced centre section maybe going if your interested. But no gruppe m.

let me know how much you want for the supersprint set up and I will have a think, as I say I would ideally like a Gruppe M but I appreciate how rare they are!!

Chrisburns do let me know if you do want to sell it at some point as I will find some cash to be ready when you do. (If I have any left after a few months CSL ownership!!)

I was quite disapointed that there were only 4 CSL's at Gaydon on Sunday, 2 years ago there must have been 10-15 CSL's either on display or on the test track!!

Most people would have been tracking them rather than talking a good race :hahaha:

Te rest have been sold to trackday users :whistle:

I expect some of these were look alike CSL's :mad: saw one last week! CSL boot lid, carbon roof, front bumper.... Leather interior manual gearbox and lack of induction noise gave it away tho!

Why make a replica they are no cheaper to insure are they :thumbs:

No idea regarding insurance but it's sure way to look like a tool... :(

Replica CSL's (Read Fake Rip-Off)
 

There were about 3 or 4 replicas all with leather interior and GRP boots. The roofs were either wrapped or painted black but none of them were SG or SB!!! Whe the f**k do you think you are kidding with a blue M3??

There were in total 4 real CSL's at Gaydon. 3 if mines a fake, better head out for a drive to make sure it is still real!!!:thumbs:

Fair enough there may not have been as many as that but there were definitely more 2 years ago than there was this year!! Memory must be going in my old age!!;)

I think Gaydon puts most people off going :gayfight:
