Yeh, we are there from Friday 25th may teatime, leaving monday early for trip across to Spa.

Right got the car back from Simpsons today. Great job done, apart from the teaboy doing the geo, or not doing it as it seems:hahaha:,

I'll be posting a full review thread for the simpsons boys in the next few days when I get a minute.

They have done a great job with the cage install, trimming work etc, it looks fantastic. The "clubsport" effect is so nice, and tbh the car is not noticeably noisier than it was before all trim was out. And Ive now got no radio either. Ill go into more detail with pictures on my thread.

Im not on the Intrax yet as Ant forgot to order them, so sticking with the KW clubsports this year. (my wallet is slightly happier this way too;))

Jobs needed to do this week.........

Need to fully service her, gearbox oil, diff oil, fit new pads all around, bleed brakes, new decals fitted, touch up on the wrap, fit tyres on new wheels, sort geo(just got to shift trackrods as steering wheel is about 45* out), full clean inside and out, refit my lawsy plate back on, the few photos before Fri morning departure.

Hopefully she will be fit and well for our Spa fun:beer:

Ive not driven it in a few weeks, but I swear it feels faster. And its not because Ive not driven fast cars for a while, I jumped out of a C63 at Simpsons into the CSL.

I was saying to Curly tuther day that I think subconsciously Im scared, as I definitely dont drive as mad as I did. But maybe that could make me quicker. I take less risk now on track, I dont bother if its pissing down, I dont to seem to be wrestling the car as much as did. Who knows, maybe with cage in Ill be OK.

I might get insurance for the day too:whistle:, see if that makes me push harder.

The only issue with Spa is that you have to have confidence with the handling of the car, as all the big gains are out of ER, Pouhon and B2.

You'll need to leave the Ring happy with the motor.

It felt good on way home, just need to dial in my settings.

Im hoping I get some good laps in at the ring, weather looks promising so far for both ring/spa.
