Here's the dynochart http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t.../IngeVT550.jpg And here's a little vid i made with my cell: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWf77pNJouA Also snapped a couple of pics.. http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...R/Foto0228.jpg http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...R/Foto0234.jpg http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...R/Foto0235.jpg After the dyno session i took it for a little testdrive again. Nice car!!!
how much do the wheels weigh approx? |
Great project
|
Thanks guys!
The wheels weigh 8,5-9kg. |
I have a kinda 1 step forward 2 steps back feeling now. I needed to remove my wheel lock due to GT regulations, and to do that i had to remove the dashboard again...
http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...Foto0284-1.jpg Got it figured out, much thanks to m3forum member delirium45 who had the same job documented in his track build journal. Couple bad cell pics... http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...R/Foto0286.jpg http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...R/Foto0285.jpg The next project will be to install a FIA master battery switch. Going to buy some wires and clamps tomorrow. Also got my clutch in the mail the other day. A beefy looking thing.. http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...R/Foto0283.jpg Also bought myself a new car that can pull the M3-R on a trailer. http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...R/Foto0281.jpg That's it for today. The car is in pieces once again and just over a month until my Nürburgring test trip. Time to get a move on... |
Installed the new clutch yesterday. Here's a couple of pics.

It's originally pressed together as shown below, but we welded the parts together so it wouldn't start sliding in the future. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...Foto0301-1.jpg Also bought some new racing gear. A lovely combo from alpinestars, sparco, hans and Arai. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...Foto0307-1.jpg http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...Foto0308-1.jpg |
Looking good now:beer:

Thanks guys!
So i'm back in Norway after two amazing days at the Nürburgring. The weather was incredible, the car felt great, people was nice. All in all just perfect. This was the first test for the M3-R. It held up pretty good. Didn't start that good though. On the first lap i had a terrible vibration in the front. Cause I use spacers up front, i didn't get the wheel centered when putting it on. I dropped the spacer and the vibration went away. On the second lap this happened... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uXVC5GuFWE The new bumper couldn't manage the downforce it produced so it crashed when i got over 200km/h. Had to cut it a bit. On the third lap i felt the car wasn't running cleen when accelerating. Popped the engine cover, and it turned out to be a coil that wasn't propperly in place. Changed that and everything runned smooth. I suffered from high oil temp the entire two days, so i couldn't push very hard, had to short shift and use half trottle on the climbing parts and straights. I've ordered a oil diverter valve so all of the oil will be running through the oil cooler in the future. Hoping that will fix it. The servo pump kicked the bucket after two hard days, going to buy a new one and hoping it will last in the future. So to sum it up, it was some small problems in the start of the first day. After lunch on the first day everything went smooth, and the second day went great. The servo didn't cause any down time on the car, only made my overarms pretty big... http://www.trackculture.com/forum/pu...ault/smile.gif Big thanks to destination Nürburgring for the best trackday ever! Here's a couple of pics and a vid where a friend riding shotgun. (Sorry for the bright video, the weather was just to good for the gopro cam.. http://www.trackculture.com/forum/pu...ault/smile.gif ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fe8zlxo1w3o http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...t/DSC02365.jpg http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...t/DSC02427.jpg http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...rsport/020.jpg http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...rsport/025.jpg http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...rsport/021.jpg http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...rsport/019.jpg |

Here's a couple of pics of how the car looks now. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...t/DSC02462.jpg http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...t/DSC02461.jpg http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...t/DSC02457.jpg http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/.../DSC024582.jpg Also got my racing licence today.
