You just pull the front of the rear seat at both sides then remove from the car . The center part is held on with 2 plastic clips front and a metal ring on the rear.

I shall post pix of the seat out today

Andyk 30-08-2008 05:28 AM

Cheers Mark will have a go this week and see which is the best route for repair. Was told that it could be repair but would always be weak and a little presure will crack it again so may get it trimmed in alcantara.

Mark CSL 30-08-2008 02:18 PM

Here are the pix of the seat out and the center pice clips

The red parts show the parts where you pull the seat up

Can you do a vid of entire interior removal ;)

Or a simple guide to front seats and door cards would be really handy.

Cheers

Mark CSL 17-01-2009 05:13 PM

The front seats are easy just 4 bolts then the airbag sensor wires
make sure you dont have the keys in the ignition or the airbag light will come on

The door cards have the 2 bolts on the handel then the door card just pulls off some force is required as it is held on with clips

_Nathan_ 17-01-2009 05:57 PM

Work the seat one out - airbag light is on as I've been driving around with just the one seat, airbags are coming out in a few weeks so not worried.

Cheers for the door card tip - will try not to break them!

one more by the door opening handle (the chrome one) and remember to unhook the locking mechanism on the back side of the handle.

I've got a very annoying rattle from my parcel shelf :banghead: can I remove it to see if any clips are missing/loose ??

DuncanR 03-05-2010 09:09 PM

Its probably a long shot Mark ... but, do you reckon you could do a video of how an overweight 53 year old, gets to pull a young 28 year old blonde with 36DD's , great body and about £5M in the bank .... it dont have to be full colour if that helps mate !??;)

Open the boot and stuff a tennis ball (or high density foam) in between the sheet metal and the parcel shelf - that parcel shelf's a pain in the butt to remove and you'll break clips quite easily.
