I was up there last night at the Dreadnought night, a mate couldn't get his car ready in time so I last minute took his place. Was fun, but slippy to begin with as the previous night someone's diff blew up?

I was also told off for overtaking the race seat cupra on the wrong side, which is amusing because I didn't (although I was happy to claim that crown) :hahaha:

I take it the Feesty went off on cold tyres then aye? You seemed to be taking it quick easy at the time n all.

This was the evo before the gearbox went bang
I was on the cup+ Baz they are crap and my vanos has chucked it again

Oh dear Mark, sorry to hear about VANOS but that's why we have warranty. Mine always seems noisy after a trackday but quietens down again over time. It was done only 15k miles ago 'n all. How many times have you had yours repaired/replaced?

Seen that Evo clip just a couple of hours ago after an engineer found it on youtube by chance. Then I told him that boys Gearbox went!

Was it a racing 'Box?

The Vanos was don on my car about 100 miles ago must be a bad unit or the gears are excessively noisy.

The evo split the gear box like it had been scalped :hahaha: 20k box i think in that EVO he races in the scottish saloon cars :thumbs:

Yes but I need to find some Cups as I've got PS2s on the car at the moment :banghead:

My (replacement) gearbox is still crunching going from 3rd to 4th gear sometimes, I've spoken to the garage in germany and they reckon reflashing the gearbox ECU should fix it - I'm inclined to agree as I'm convinced its a software problem.

I'll get the video installed for thursday though :thumbs:
