Nothing new here other than i've bought a car cover for the csl!! Bought it from a guy off of Pistonheads. My car is kept in a car port and it gets
really dusty so will be using the cover now.

raCedeSignLtd 07-11-2007 04:42 PM

I've got the original bmw silver cover for my car . It was only 100 quid new and is far better than more expensive covers I've bought in the past. Great at keeping your car dust free after a major cleaning mission.

M3CSLIRL 15-11-2007 11:31 PM

anybody recomend a BMW good car cover?

Hypnotic 16-11-2007 12:33 AM

Got mine from Specialised Car Covers
Got one for the 22B and it fits like a glove , made for the exact model rather than the range.Got an outdoor one for the CSL aswell , but not used it yet(it's never left outside).it's also a great fit and good quality.
Cost @ £150 - 180.

neil 18-11-2007 09:14 PM

Car covers eh, i got mine from Classic Additions, its indoor only and is a great fit, they were selling at a discount at Goodwood Revival. Errr and i fixed my lazy brake lights the other night, they only came on with a good prod and fearing the worst never did much about it apart from brace myself in traffic. Anyway turns out there's a magnetic switch on the peddle with loads of adjustment, cover off, adjust, check, feel smug, cover on, total 5 mins, sweet.

cslgirl 07-10-2012 08:30 PM

After all this time, I only just worked out how to put the car cover on, and take it off properly......

Went out in it today as the sun was shining. Some :moan: parked so close to it (a fecking skoda Yeti!) that we had to reverse the csl just to open the door to get the kids in - so the OH altered the wipers of the Yeti.:finga:

Much csl :smt055 love in the house though.:-D

Why would anyone want to do that inside a car cover?
Black Car cover fair enough, but a role cage and a V10 Twin Compressor is a bit extreme, next you'll be putting wheels on it!

As i was looking today in www.mobile.de for a black CSL i saw that prices started to increase in a very worrying level... Prices range from 50.000 euros and ends somewhere around 60.000 - 65.000 euros. I don't know if it is worth to buy a CSL to convert it in a V10 track weapon.. And for the use i want it i don't know if it worths at all. Maybe i should think the buy of a well used M3 E46 and think what to do with it...

Best
