Suspicious Looking OEM CSL Airbox For Sale on Ebay

It looks off, i know there have been supposed prototypes floating around. However this looks sketch, anyone else have any input on this.

What's leading you to be suspicious about it?

The horns/trumpets are green instead of yellow, the front air collector looks different then all CSL airbox's I've seen even in person. Missing the motor for the flap, and the flap itself. Also even though the part numbers match, the bmc filter I don't see how it would fit looks to be a different design slightly.

Looks genuine to me...just crap photos...

Complete kit too.....handy.

Unless your color blind the colors don't match...

photo's can be very deceiving - in real life I am gorgeous, but in a pic I look like shrek :mad:

I think you will find it's the camera that is colour blind.....

Everyone's told you it looks legit ... from the crappy photos it looks pretty legit to all the owners.

I've seen the really good replica airboxes from the States from the two group buys and the ones made by Chad and even those have some finer details that differentiate it from the real deal (even the generation 1 and generation 2 replica airboxes are different from that group buy - with the generation 2 much much better built and closer to the real thing).

Get the seller to send you some better photos if you are in doubt. Then again if you are buying something so expensive, I'd definitely want proof that it is the real thing or pick it up in person to inspect it.

looks 100% genuine to me.

It is also a 09 production batch. I've seen only 2 batches, the 2003 production batch that came originally with the CSLs and they probably made spares

then the 2009 production batch which has a different sticker and that's the one you see here.

it is 200% genuine.

however it is only 2 out of 3 pieces. It has the intake plenum. the part that reduces to the flap. but it doesn't seem to come with the part after that (the flap and the openings to the ducting, that part doesn't come cheap either)
