regret is a word which doesnt really emphasise the loss i feel. no show me any other possession which can connect on a human level?

any then theres my motto, you cant drive your house but you can sleep in your CSL

Sorry to hear about the first bit, but last bit very true

I sold mine nearly two years ago, only car I've ever watched being driven away and thought, fuck I hope I've done the right thing.

I was originally looking for a 996 turbo and happened to be in the garage when this csl was waiting to be prepped for sale, I took a drive in it out of curiosity, I only drove a few miles before I knew I had to buy one, that one as it happened, epic car/noise.

Think its all agreed the noise is the UPS of the CSL. its what id miss the most.

1m looks like an amazing car, but the asmatic blowing soiund coming out the exhaust is just mind numbing in comparison..

Im off to test drive an exige V6 today just out of curiosity because I used to have one. Twice as fast as a CSL but i bet it is now where near as fun to drive on the road.

On the flip side of the coin, I get a CSL for the first time tomorrow!

Only waited 6 weeks since agreeing the sale to get rid of my other car:banghead:

5 hour train journey in the morning then a 4 hour drive back in the CSL. Shame it's motorway most of the way...

Very excited ... wonder if I'll be in the same position in a few years time.

i bought my csl almost a year ago now, and i love it so much, i know i could have bought the 1M or new M3 but the CSL is an ICON car, with epic noise. this noise only comes from this car. I know i will regret it if i ever will sell it but i wont. I spent so much money in upgrading so far lol. Still the prettiest looking bmw there is today imo
