Thats fine. Hankook RS2s remember, which apparently "last forever".

Care not, woodbridge is an excellent place to learn and if I burn a set of tyres, so what I'll just buy some more ;-)

btw, in a very rare "back on topic" moment - had the cats swapped over today for the OEM ones. Car now sounds very boring :(

Certainly, I'm surprised at the difference it has made. Would have thought most of the noise would come from the backbox.

Oh and they turned off the "check emissions" light for me also ;-)

You have the resonated SuperSprint centre section remember. This practically eliminates the CSL 'rasp'...

measured today at woodbridge, 92db.

I seriously doubt SS cats account for 10db so I suspect the oulton reading was OTT.

Oulton was never too bad, but last few times they seem more strict

At Snett today mine registered static 95.7dB
(was supposed to be 6000rpm but I held it at 5500rpm:whistle:)
