They didn't make MUCH profit on it as they paid £22 800 + some small fees and were asking a VERY reasonable £23 950 which they got, only a week after buying it from the Auction. It was interesting to have a quick chat with the sales chap (a very well spoken, honorable fellow) who commented very favorably about this particular CSL. In his own words ( ... it's as if someone has taken the whole vehicle apart and rebuild it, with NEW parts, absolutely everything, down to nuts & bolts, washer etc . Incredible for any car, but especially one that is 6 years old and has covered 60K from NEW. This one will stay in my mind for a long time)
THE END :bigcry:

maybe you should be asking yourself why it looks like it has been rebuilt?

Exactly. From what I heard, and I told you this Matt, that car has been in a serious scrape but not got it recorded on HPI, meaning probably a track crash and repair.

Suppose that's fine if it has indeed been repaired with all new parts etc... but that still should be reflected in the price.

The last owner was desperate to sell because it had been up for sale for months... dropping steadily a thousand at a time.

Like I said, barge and pole. Don't lose any sleep over missing out on that one.

ARRRRRRRRR ! I'm loosing my mind here... going CSL CRAZZZY ! :banghead: I thought you were talking about the other SG CSL from Leicester area that was being SOLD privately. I'm glad that's been cleared now. Did U know that car was being retailed by Sytner Leicester only few weeks ago, at an over the top price of £28 500 with not a single sole making serious enquiries. It's the reason why it ended up the Auction, I guess. Water under the bridge. :hahaha:
