I don't think the CSL stands out. I think it can sit in a car park without anyone noticing it, unless they know what it is, I may be wrong ?

Totally agree, GT3 / F430 etc etc is look at me... CSL is another 3 series to people who are unaware, but for those that care its special and up there for enjoyment levels;)

Each to there own I guess, and yes I visit customers, run a sales team for a very large corporate company, and do not have to wear a suit to do business, they like the fact that I don't rock up in the stereo typical 2.4 salesmans std issue grey diesel !!

You're right, I'm completely understated when I turn up for meetings these days ;)

You guys totally missed my point.

The loudness of the CSL with a milltek, its not exactly subtle!

Anyway, im done with trying to convince people on a CSL forum that there are cars as good available in the world!:hahaha:

Rags, you know it doesn't need spelling out that this is a CSL enthusiasts site. What exactly do you expect? We love the car and everyone has their opinion and drives the car that suits them. Of course there are better cars around. The E92 M3 is a great car. But for me, when I had the choice it couldn't replace the CSL. I want a raw, no-frills, no compromise experience and for me that's a CSL or GT3.

Like Daz, I drove my CSL for a year as my daily driver and loved it, long or short journey's. Not a problem and certainly none of my clients even noticed apart from the one's that recognised the car for what it is.

So, instead of buying a new M3 I changed things around, kept the CSL in the garage for track and weekends and bought something else for day to day.

Each to their own n'all that.
