Bloke is a liar and a thief simple as that. Was trading as ATF Power at the time but closed it down (presumably with a load of debt) and set up new company.

The ECU that he "developed" is just a Syvecs in his own box, the DCT stuff was written by Syvecs and jointly paid for by him and these guys: http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/news...on-conversion/

so you can get exactly the same Syvecs ECU with DCT control from whifbitz and avoid having to deal with him.

Others are developing DCT solutions too, give it 6 months and there will be more choice.

I saw the whifbitz link, was how I found the eliseracing searching for more on syvecs - was it Gareth you dealt with?

Am happy to wait bit as it's a winter project anyway. Don't want to write off the company based on one experience but duly noted - thanks

Still in very early conversations with him but if it does go anywhere I'll mention he might want to do some damage control here! I'm sure he's got a side of the story but I don't wanna get involved!

All I've got in mind is a fast-road tuned launch on normal tyres followed by 6 fast, clunkfree, shifts at the redline....
