Any idea how this back box will fair on the noise checks at track days?

Really like the look of that and if it does something for the performance then its a winner all round.

Only concern i have is that it would fail the checks at a track.

My next one is Croft @ 98db strict

BTW
car looks stunning :smokin: they just look so good dirty

Cheers Mate , think it should be OK as its the same set up as thorneys actual road car, which was ok for track days, as Alex says with the silenced SS centre section then its not as lairy, its just the right level of more race / rasp sound to it / but still with the induction roar not too in your face or embarrassing for day to day !!

That's the reason I have one. :smokin: Noise is very nice in combination with silenced SS centre section, which I'm currently running. Fairly sure most trackdays wouldn't be a problem with mine.

I found it not to my taste with 100 cell cats though but I'm sure some would love it.

was it much louder with the cell cats?

i am thinking the miltek could be my best option.

AlexGTT 24-03-2009 06:34 PM

Well, it was too loud for me but most of my friends said they would have kept them on. I'm kind of fussy, so took them off.

Maybe if you don't like it too loud the other SS or Milltek backbox might be the better option.
