Bit on the quiet side and while interior better as you'd expect it didn't have as much sense of occasion. With DCT, zorst & tyres would be nice package.....CSL type version........ :-)

My trouble is that I can't see why I would buy one over an E92M3 tbh

I just live v8s, it's hard enough convincing myself to keep the CSL let alone not buying a v8 as a replacement.

Interesting you say that. I had E92M3 before and really did not like it, so I was over the moon when I managed to exchange it for the CSL. But, they are different cars....so pointless to compare.

However, where I am getting......I went to try the 1M few months back. My expectations were very low, but I did it just since I was curious. The thing really blew me away and I think its great. So much more happening inside comparing to E92M3, forget the speed....but it felt so much more alive, agile and raw....I really liked it. I hated the seat though....its so high that I am sure you lose valuable seconds on the racetrack just since the centre of gravity is so high :banghead:

Again, I would not exchange it for the CSL (at least not yet) and CSL is a much faster car especially in fast corners....but the thing accelerates so brutally on a normal B-road that it really gave me ideas for the future. Cleverly stripped out, proper brakes, lowered and with nice set of Recaros....mega fun!!!!

Because e92 is a right lump and eats eccles cakes, tyres & juice whereas 1m with buckets wouldn't be far away from csl and with lightweight zorst probably the same weight as CSL? Chuck in dct and tyres would be close run thing on track for most csler's that haven't been to Miramar :thumbs:In other words csl'esque 1m

E92 are very good Shimmy. They need coilovers, brakes and I reckon would make an awesome car. Never as nimble as Csl, but I think could be as quick.

I had one but the deal just fell through so bought another pork instead.
