Great result.
Hopefully we can win in Sydney as well to make it a proper 'Win' of the Ashes, otherwise the Aussies will all moan that we didn't 'Win' the Ashes, just 'retained' them... |
Anyone watching the highlights on itv4 ? this is just so good..

Well they think it is all over...........and it is now.
FAB . At last..... the first win in Australia for 24 years. Fingers crossed we can continue it through for the rest of the year and beyond. Pip |
Yep, Aussies well and truely thrashed. Don't think I watched an Ashes series where (excepting Perth and the odd session in the first test) a side has dominated not just every session but entire days and 5 day tests. There is usually an ebb and flow over a test from session to session or day to day.
Anyone remember the Aussie press with their "10 reasons why England will badly loose this Ashes"? :hahaha::hahaha: Oh how stupid they feel now. I love cricket and I've been in heaven this last couple of months.:beer: |
OK I will bite...we were shit...your side is not that great but as I said we are shit.
Our selction policy needs a total review and we need to turf out all the pricks and rebuild from the ground up....because we were so successful for so long with Gilchrist, Ponting, Hayden, Warne, McGrath, Healey, and so on we have created this youth void so we either have only old now useless guys or young inexperienced guys and no one in the middle. Small consolation we are leading 1 day series 2 nill....yes I know it doesn't count! |
