Also for those who haven't done it, highly recommend a lunch stop in Leuven on the way down.

Stunning and i'm not talking about the buildings...

Steve Gill's car possibly, not sure if he'd of been there though, check the latest CSL Cup thread from Brands Hatch on here and you'll see a fair few pics of them

Where is Leuven, sounds like it's worth a stop for a butchers! :hahaha: ;)

Just off the E40, east of Bruxelles. Not sure that's the quickest way, but there were some great views.

Leuven's also the home of Stella, which is obviously why we went!

Need to get back before the end of the year apparently...

Im back there in Oct if you fancy it, if not give me a shout and will take the card of you, when your next in Stockley, decided not to buy the annual pass this year as I want to not do so many TF weekends and do the private ones, much better track time, so im pay-as-you-go for 2010 :hahaha:

3rd and final trip of the year coming up ;)

There are some plans afoot, but will let you know if they fall through and will get the card to you!

Did some tourist laps on the Sunday afternoon. Fooking scary. Spent more time looking in my mirrors than looking where i was going. Got to the end of the first lap and thought, hmm, don't remember much of that!

Monday was a Destination Nurburgring Trackday and was a lot better, fewer cars, no bikes, no pickups, or buses. There was a London Taxi though who spun on the sighting lap and wasn't seen on track again! The only disconcerting bit was some of the race cars (Cup CSLs, Aston N24, Porsche 908, Corvette) who were flying but generally pretty good.

Would certainly go on more trackdays there, not sure whether i would do more TF laps (but clearly i will!)

Is that like the 'Destination Nurburgring' trips that I've seen BHP (Buckingham High Performance) arranging?

They look really good, not sure on value for money but closed track to public and open lapping has got to be good! :smokin:

Careful on the mention of trains dude - Shimmy is lurking somewhere and has his own thoughts on those 'trains'
